The commitment

Dava donates 1.08% of our annual net profit to Gift of Life Fiji. It isn't a rounding-up prompt or a donation we ask you to make — it comes from our own margin, every year, for as long as Dava operates. Affordable medicine is why we exist, and this carries that same belief beyond our own customers.

What Gift of Life does

Gift of Life is a project of the Sai Prema Foundation, a registered charitable organisation in Fiji. It provides free, life-saving heart surgery to underprivileged children across Fiji and the wider Pacific — completely free of cost to their families.

Around 200 children in Fiji, and roughly 2,500 across the Pacific, are born with congenital heart disease each year. For most of the region's history there has been no local paediatric cardiac service, and surgery overseas costs tens of thousands of dollars — out of reach for nearly every family who needs it. Gift of Life has already delivered free heart surgery to more than 300 children.
